And just like that folks, the business and the family have moved to Grapevine, Texas. I graduated from Grapevine High School way back in ’98. It feels good to be back home and much closer to family. I’m eager to connect with coffee lovers in our neighborhood. My wife and I will be surveying the landscape for potential brick and mortar locations to choose from over the course of the next year. Until then, we’ll be fulfilling orders from home. We’ve already roasted and shipped a few orders since the move and look forward to having conversations with several entities in close proximity who may be interested in some unique coffee partnerships.
The move has been exhausting and still isn’t complete. We have the luxury of time at the moment and are able to pull items over an extended period as a result, instead of U-Haul-ing in one fell swoop. We have many friends still in the Austin area and will be traveling back often to visit. The coffee equipment is currently being safely stored there. I’d love to find a spot for all of it in Grapevine. A business looking to accentuate their offerings with a legitimate Third Wave coffee program would be ideal. World… if you’re listening, just putting it out there.
