Green Coffee

Great coffee comes from great farms. We maintain our commitment to community by sourcing green coffee from producers and distributors with similar passions and principles.  With deep connections to many family farms in Central America, we hope to highlight their efforts through our endeavors.

Roasted Coffee

Our Diedrich IR-1 Craft Batch Roaster, coupled with Artisan Roast Profiling, allows for a unique, Techno-Roasting process that offers consistency in the cup from harvest to harvest, year after year.  While current Specialty Coffee standards seek quick roasting times to meet higher demands, we’ve slowed down our roasts to massage the delicate floral and citrus notes to life.  Think Wagyu Beef but instead of massaging cows, we rub down coffee beans.

Brew Lab

Espresso testing is done via an industry standard Nuova Simonelli Appia II. Our Curtis CBHT Batch Brewer keeps us informed as to how our roasts perform in high volume cafe environments. We also rigorously take our roasted coffee through tests and trials at our Pour Over Station to ensure our beans are viable options for any brew method.  Our recipes can be provided upon request.

Inventory and Roasting Process

Our Prime Directive is to put the freshest roasted coffee into your cup each and every morning. Our stock inventory is calculated based on our green coffee in house, less approximately 18% in water weight loss from roasting.

If a coffee is out of stock on our retail store page, we are awaiting the availability of that particular coffee.  Some coffees may be more easily procured than others. As a result, our coffee selection will rotate based on current availability.

When we purchase an order of green coffees, on occasion, we will offer Pre Orders for those coffees. In such cases, Pre Orders  will be fulfilled upon receipt of our green coffee shipment and will not adhere to our normal Next Business Day roast protocol.

We purchase our green coffee in lots of 50lb bags and typically can fulfill 66 retail orders from what we roast out.

Wholesale and Private Label clients are assured consistency through our Techno-Roasting process facilitated by integration of Artisan Roast Profiling software with our Diedrich IR-1 Craft Batch Roaster. Safeguards are in place to ensure your customers get that same great cup every time they visit.
